Founded in 1945, Kaiser Permanente (KP) is a consortium of physicians and healthcare facilities that provide affordable and effective healthcare services to patients. With operations in 8 states, KP is currently the largest managed healthcare organization in the US. KP offers a wide range of health care services and treatments for conditions such as high blood pressure, stroke, and cancer. As of 2014, the organization had over 9.3 million members in its health plan and over 167,000 employees. KP operates more than 37 medical centers and 600 medical offices across the country.
Registering a KP Online Account
One of the best things about KP is that members can register online and manage their accounts at any time. Registering and using this service is free. If you’d like to register, here’s how you can do it.
Step 1– Go to kp.org and click on the “Register Now” link on the home page
Step 2– Choose the language you want to use to register, either English or Spanish then click “Continue”

Step 5– Finally, provide your username and password and then verify the information before you complete registration.
Once you’ve registered, you can login to your account and start managing it. You will be able to make a one-time payment, check your current balance, and setup automatic payments.
Note: You can sign up as a caregiver from the registration page as well.
Ways to Pay Your KP Bill
Kaiser Permanente offers its clients simple and convenient ways to pay their bills. As a customer, you can choose to pay via phone, by mail, or online at kp.org/paypremium. It’s up to you to decide which method of payment you’d like to use. Let’s briefly look at each of the payment options you have.
KaiserPay Online by Phone
As a KP client, you can also choose to make payments for your bills via your phone. Simply dial (800) 348-0264 and follow the automated voice prompts until you pay off your bill. Alternatively, you can call customer billing department using the same number and instruct them to complete your payment. A small convenience fee may apply for customer service-assisted bill payments.
Kaiser Paypremium via Mail
If you can’t pay your bills online via kp.org.paypremium, you can still pay them by writing and mailing a check to Kaiser Permanente. Make sure that you write your account number behind the check and enclose the payment stub so that you payment can be processed and posted quickly.

As a member, you can also pay your Kaiser Permanente bills online. Simply go to kp.org/paypremium, login to your account, and make a one-time bill payment.
You need to know the due bill amount and have your credit card or bank account information ready so that you can pay quickly. If you don’t have an online account, go to the homepage and register so that you will be able to make payments online.
